Happy 30th Birthday lovely Aidan. They say that special dates make for hard days within the first few years. All my love to the Olomans and Sean today. May we all toast Aidan tonight - and wish for the safe keeping of all the broken hearts wishing we could watch her blow out another cake.

Celebrating today was hard. I pour my effort into expanding cherished memories into the space that opened up in your passing.
The last birthday I shared with you was in 1998, in Hueco Tanks. What better way to celebrate than a day of bouldering in the sun with good friends?
Rowan, Mab, Colin, I wish you peace and warmth on this rainy night. I feel your threads in the fabric of my life, woven into happy adventures of my childhood.
Here's to the richness of Aidan's weave, warming us all.

Dear Mab, Colin, Rowan and Sean,
I had the pleasure of working with Aiden on two occasions - we were guiding students enrolled in the TREK Outdoor Education Program.
Aiden was able to instantly connect with students - her warm, caring, "no nonsense" personality allowed her to quickly gain the respect and admiration of the young people whom she taught, mentored and sometimes cajoled.
Her presence is missed by students and staff of the program, but we take solace in knowing that her sprit will be with us whenever we venture into the mountains
